Reorder: Electrotherm to install and commission the second 4.5 meter rotary hearth furnace to a major manufacturer of turbine blades forgings Electrotherm was awarded with a reorder for an electrical heated 4500mm rotary hearth furnace equipped with SiC u-shape heating elements for forging and heat treatment within temperature range of 1650°F to 2250°F (900°C to 1230°C). The furnace is a gas tight furnace. The atmosphere gas system is fully equipped for endothermic and nitrogen gas. The installation and commissioning is schedule for this autumn. For more information about these types of furnaces, e-mail info@electrotherm.co.il. Two 1000 mm rotary hearth furnaces are delivered to a French manufacturer of aeronautical construction for precision forging Electrotherm was contracted to manufacture and supply two 1000mm rotary hearth furnaces by a French manufacturer of aeronautical constructions. The furnaces implement a "one in-one out" philosophy. They are designed with a rotary speed of 2 r.p.m and include station indexes. Electrotherm responsiveness to the customer specifications and ability to supply within a tight delivery schedule was key in winning the order. A melting container, constructed as a rectangular pot filled with oil for melting Urea containing embedded blocks with blades. The parts to be melted are placed in a basket, which is immersed in the oil. The oil is heated to a temperature of 170° C and melts the Urea. The melted Urea pushes the oil upward and the Urea settles at the bottom for easy recovery by opening the heated valve located at the bottom of the pot to a small container. |
