Electrotherm supplies custom made vacuum forming system designed for Hot Drape Forming of composite material parts for the aerospace industry. The unit can be static and permanently fixed in a selected place or can be mobile and travel between 2 working stations. It is heated by Infra Red bulbs and includes a rubber silicone membrane.

The entire vacuum forming process is automatic. Once the temperature in the membranes is stabilized, it is lowered to the mold placed on the table where vacuum is created, thus molding the raw material into the shape of the mold.
